Welcome to the club...

Welcome to the Deviantart Gryphon Clan! This is a club for Gryphon lovers, those with gryphon fursonas, Gryphon therians/otherkin, etc.
We are just getting started here, so for new members--spread the word! Tell your friends about the Clan and let them know that it's out there! I'm sure there are many out there who fit the criteria. :3

A necessary evil--though you will find that really, the rules are quite redundant. (:


Rules for joining

You must be a fan of gryphons, your fursona (or one of them if you have more than one) should be a gryphon, or you are a gryphon therianthrope/otherkin.
If you change accounts, I would like to be informed of the change--in that case, note the clan on this account.
You must be a member of DA to join.

Rules for Submitting

Submit a picture only once--do not send the same picture multiple times just to make sure it got through, in otherwords. If you don't see it up within the week, then feel free to send it in again.
The image has to follow the DA guidlines--It can have adult content so long as it doesn't break any of the rules on DA. If it does, then it will not be put up.
You must have the image in your own gallery prior to sending a note in.
You don't have to Submit something to be a member of the clan--however, it is greatly appreciated so we have a chance to display your works. (:

Rules for Commenting

No flames--especially not flames directed towards other members or the art of other members. We are all learning. Constructive Criticism, however, is definitely welcome unless the artist has specified that they do not want it.
Comment and favourite on the artist's ORIGINAL ONLY. Do not comment and favourite on the clan page for the artwork.
While submitting isn't necessary to be a part of the club, we ask that you try to comment on someone's submission to the clan at LEAST once a month. That's not so much to ask, is it?



Joining

If you wish to join, send a note to the clan account ( ) with "Joining" in the subject line and your account name as well as whether you are just a fan of gryphons, or if you have a gryphon fursona/if your are a gryphon therian or otherkin. Send your request only once, and if you don't see yourself in the memberlist within a week, feel free to send the note in again. < 3
Also, before you join, please add the club to your watch list so you can keep up with updates and new pieces and etc. ^_^ You also need the club icon or a link to the club in your journal or in your signature somewhere.



Submitting

If you wish to submit, send a note to the clan account ( ) with "Submitting" in the subject line, along with the following:

The link to your artwork/written piece/poetry/etc.
Whether it has mature content or not,
Whether Constructive Criticism is welcome, encouraged, discouraged, or if comments are disabled,
The category, subcategory, etc. of your piece,
keywords,
and description.

Once you have these things in there, send it off, and we should have the piece up within the week. (: If not, then feel free to sent your submission in again.
